✨ Coach Spotlight: Anatoli Toropov ✨
TEG’s Head Coach for our Compulsory and Optional Teams
Coach Anatoli brings to TEG over 40 years of national‑level expertise, unmatched technical knowledge, and a truly big heart for the athletes.
His coaching journey began in Kirgizia, where he spent eight years on the National Team competing before transitioning into coaching. His career includes coaching within the USSR National Team system and serving as Head Coach of the National Team of Kirgizia.
Since moving to the United States in 1987, Coach Anatoli has developed athletes who became National qualifiers and earned college scholarships — all while building strong, confident gymnasts through his patient and caring approach.

✨ Coach Spotlight: Lisa Collins ✨
TEG’s Competitive Program Manager / Optional Team Coach
Lisa brings over 30 years of experience in gymnastics, both as an elite athlete and a dedicated coach. She competed at the elite level, qualified for the U.S. Classic and American Classic, and earned a full scholarship to the University of Georgia, where she competed all‑around and earned SEC Championship team rings in 1991 and 1992.
For more than three decades, Lisa has coached athletes across Xcel, Compulsory, and Levels 6–10, helping develop State, Regional, and Team Champions, National and Eastern Qualifiers, and gymnasts who have gone on to compete in college.
As TEG’s Program Manager, Lisa leads and oversees all team programs, ensuring consistency, structure, and high‑quality coaching across every level. Her leadership, experience, and passion continue to elevate our athletes and our staff.

✨ Coach Spotlight: Katherine Lulow ✨
Xcel Silver/Gold Team Coach
Coach Katherine brings to TEG 14 years of coaching experience from Oregon, where she worked with groups of Compulsory and Xcel Team athletes and helped them build strong basics, confidence, and a love for the sport. She is a calm, steady coach who believes in clear expectations, positive communication, and creating a training environment where every gymnast feels supported.
This season, she will be leading our Xcel Silver and Xcel Gold teams. Katherine is known for her ability to guide athletes step‑by‑step, celebrate progress, and help gymnasts feel comfortable while still being challenged. Families appreciate her consistency, her organization, and the way she keeps athletes focused without ever losing the joy of gymnastics.

Compulsory Team Coach
Makayla has been part of Tennessee Elite Gymnastics since day one — one of our very first athletes when we opened our doors. She grew up in this gym, trained through Level 10, and became known for her work ethic, grace, and quiet determination. Whether she was pushing through tough assignments or encouraging her teammates, Makayla always carried herself with maturity and kindness. She brings a deep understanding of the sport from both sides of the floor.
Makayla is a true example of what it means to grow up TEG Strong — and now she’s helping build the next generation of athletes with that same heart and dedication.

Compulsory Team Coach
Coach Kamryn brings a strong competitive background and a deep love for the sport. She trained and competed in gymnastics for 12 years, building the discipline, strength, and passion that now shape her coaching style.
Today, Coach Kamryn leads our Compulsory Levels 2, 3, and 4, where her energy, patience, and focus on fundamentals help young athletes grow with confidence. She is dedicated to teaching strong basics, building consistency, and creating a positive training environment where gymnasts feel supported and motivated.

Thinking About Dropping a Class? 💌
We know life gets busy — schedules change, seasons shift, and sometimes it feels like it’s time to step away. But before you make that call, let’s chat! We can often adjust class times, switch programs, or find a better fit so your child can keep building skills, friendships, and confidence without missing a beat.
If you do decide to drop, here’s how it works:
• Requests must be made in writing — either by email or a handwritten note delivered to our office.
• Requests via phone or through your coach can’t be honored.
• Your child will remain enrolled (and tuition will continue) until we receive written notification.
⏳ Timing:
• Requests received between the 1st–15th of the month take effect at the end of the current month.
• Requests received between the 16th–30th take effect at the end of the following month.
